Amanda’s real estate experience far exceeds the time she has been formally licensed. Amanda spent many years shadowing her mom, Nanny Gifford, attending showings, open houses, writing listing descriptions, and assisting with marketing brochures. She learned the business from the ground floor - and knows the market history from starter homes to luxury listings.
Amanda likes working with first time home buyers, and seasoned sellers alike. Her strength is helping her clients identify exactly what they are looking for and guiding them every step of the way from the initial meeting through to closing. She brings a plethora of experience, having bought and sold a number of personal and investment properties, and a thorough knowledge of the process. She has managed the details of many renovations, showcasing her ability to multi-task and work with grace under pressure.
Amanda grew up in Lower Gwynedd and attended Springside School. Upon graduation from Trinity College she became a marketing project manager in New York City. She returned to Lower Gwynedd with her husband to raise her two boys Charlie and Win. When not touring houses she can be found walking the Wissahickon trails with her (enormous!) dog Pippa, serving on the boards at the Morris Arboretum and the Penllyn Club, or cheering on her boys on the lacrosse field or ski mountain.
