Bordering historic and vibrant Chestnut Hill, Wyndmoor is perfectly situated near a vast array of dining and shopping options, while being a close train or car ride away from Center City. The homes here range from modest townhouses to grandiose, sprawling estates. Wyndmoor is located in the Springfield Township School District. Wyndmoor is home to the site of Whitemarsh Hall, the 300-acre estate of banking executive Edward T. Stotesbury, once known as the ‘Versailles of America’. Whitemarsh Hall was demolished in 1980, and an entire community of modern townhouses now occupies the land of the former estate.
